Idiotic Lindsey Graham: Iraq 'another 9/11 in the making'

Lindsey Graham is an idiot and doesn't know a thing about foreign policy.
Lindsey Graham is an idiot and doesn't know a thing about foreign policy.
The United State has strangled themselves in an unwinnable situation in Iraq. The Operation Iraqi Freedom did nothing to "spread democracy" or make the region stable, but rather it set off a bloody civil war between Sunnis and Shias, and persists to this day.

Back in 2003 when he was a state senator, Pres. Obama opposed the war, stating it was "dumb war." He was right. However when he became the president, he wanted to stay in Iraq until the Iraqi government demanded that the U.S. should leave.

Since the withdrawal from Iraq violence has accelerated, as the emergence of a new radical group known as ISIS, which some describe as more extreme than Al-Qaeda.

The Republicans think the solution should be... more war.

Senator Lindsay Grahm was on CNN stating that President Obama should go back to Iraq and restart fighting these new terrorists. "Put American airpower into the game. These guys are not 10-feet tall. Stop the advance on Baghdad. Get people on the ground that the Iraqis trust. Maliki must go. Get a new government in place, right, and hit Syria," he said. "If you don't deal with Syria in a coordinated fashion, maybe with Turkey, regional Sunni Arab states, you will have this happen all over again in Iraq."

When he said, "Maliki must go" he was completely out of his mind. Maliki won an election that Republican framed as a success-story of Bush's foreign policy. So why does he have to go? And who's going to replace him?

Graham suggested that the U.S. work with Iran to stabilize Iraq.

"The Iranians can provide some assets to make sure Baghdad doesn't fall. We need to coordinate with the Iranians. And the Turks need to get in the game and get the Sunni Arabs back into the game, form a new government without Maliki," he said.

Iraq hasn't been able to get along with the "Turks" he refers. So if the Turkey is the
"in the game" it creates a new conflict. Lindsay Graham doesn't know a thing about foreign policy yet he's the one that always put on TV.

Fear-monger Graham continued by saying, "this is another 9/11 in the making. The FBI director has warned us in Congress that Syria and Iraq present a direct threat to our homeland." Obviously Graham likes to engage in another war, because that means more campaign contributions from defence contractors who can't wait to put the weapons they built to use so they can build more weapons.
