Be a Blogger

Have you ever had a fierce political debate with a friend or a family member? Well, even if you haven't, but interested in writing about American politics, then this is for you! If you're interested in becoming a political blogger, keep reading...

Blogging Guidelines:

What to Write:
You can write about wide range of topics related to American politics, like current news, controversial debates and discussions, election results and implications, and many more.

How to Write:
Pay attention to grammar and spellings; unfortunately those things are important. Try to be as professional as possible, but keep in mind that our target audience isn't necessarily college grads. So write your articles such that it appeals to a broader ranger of audience - much like how mainstream newspapers are written.

  • Your blog posts should be informative and engaging. 
  • Don't write lengthy posts. Wording should be ~500
  • Include images and/or videos
  • Make references to sources

Getting Paid:

Amount of payment:
What you will be paid  for each article is based on the quality of writing, and the potential impact it has on the overall growth of the blog. Thus your ability to write compelling and engaging articles will result in a higher monthly income.

You'll be notified as to how much you'll be earning once you become an approved blogger.

Payment cycle: 
You will be paid on the last date of the month for all the approved posts you made in the month.

Payment Options:
You will receive your payment on your PayPal account.

Stuff You Need:

  • Google account - you need a Google account because the Blogger platform, which we are using to run LOL American Politics, requires you to have one in order to log in and publish articles.
  • PayPal account - as of now, this is the only way for you to receive payments your published articles.

How It Works:

  1. Become an approved blogger
  2. Then you'll have access to post articles on the blog
  3. You may post up to two articles a day
  4. Only articles that are approved by an admin will appear on the website
  5. You'll only be paid for the approved articles
